The whitelist feature in Camera Guard Android ensures that an app on the whitelist can bypass camera protection.

For example, if you add your camera app to the whitelist, you will be able to take photos with your camera again.

Otherwise, Camera Guard would block use of the camera.

Even if an app is on the whitelist, the integrated Deep Detective continuously monitors which process or app is trying to access the camera. In addition, known attack attempts—and, thanks to modern heuristic methods, also unknown ones—are reported.
