What does the whitelist feature in Micro Guard Android do?

The whitelist feature in Micro Guard Android ensures that an app on the whitelist can bypass microphone protection.

For example, if you add WhatsApp or your voice recording app to the whitelist, you will be able to dictate or record voice messages again.

Otherwise, Micro Guard would block use of the microphone.

Even if an app is on the whitelist, the integrated Deep Detective continuously monitors which process or app is trying to access the microphone. In addition, known attack attempts—and, thanks to modern heuristic methods, also unknown ones—are reported.
