How the artificial intelligence in Antivirus AI works

Our Antivirus AI app uses highly advanced artificial intelligence (AI) that goes far beyond conventional antivirus programs. Thanks to a dual engine that combines signature-based scanning and machine-learning methods, the system can effectively detect and block not only known threats such as viruses and trojans, but also new and previously undiscovered threats.

At the start, Antivirus AI reviews all relevant data: file names, hash values, network connections, and code structures. While part of this is compared against known malware signatures, the AI simultaneously analyzes suspicious patterns and behaviors in the background. The software performs both static and dynamic analyses:

In static analysis, the program code is examined without running it.
In dynamic analysis (sandboxing), the AI observes whether the program, for example, establishes unexpected network connections or modifies system files without being noticed.


Based on these findings, the AI creates a score, meaning a probability that a file could be malicious. If this value exceeds a defined threshold, the suspicious program is automatically blocked or moved to quarantine.
At the same time, the system keeps learning: every newly recognized malware sample and every possible false alarm (false positive) flows back into the AI and refines its decision-making mechanisms.

Antivirus AI also places special emphasis on privacy and energy efficiency. Some of the more demanding calculations take place in highly secure cloud environments in order to reduce the load on the devices themselves. At the same time, all data is transmitted in encrypted form under strict policies and collected only to the minimum extent possible. Independent testing institutes such as AV-TEST and TGLabs regularly confirm the high detection rate of more than 99.9%, the reliable proactivity, and the careful handling of user data.

Looking ahead, Antivirus AI relies on connected AI learning (for example federated learning), in which all installations benefit from one another anonymously. This allows the system to better recognize previously unknown malware variants, attack waves, and manipulated apps at an earlier stage. In this way, Antivirus AI not only adapts to the current threat landscape — it also learns permanently from the global experience of millions of devices.
