If you purchased your Protectstar subscription through Google Play, you cancel it directly in Google Play—not in the app itself.

Here is how:

1. Open Google Play on your Android device.
2. Go to Payments & subscriptions or Subscriptions.
3. Select the subscription you want.
4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

Important: Uninstalling the app does not end your subscription. If you only delete the app, the subscription may still continue.

After cancellation, the general rule is: You keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, but the next automatic renewal is stopped. That is exactly why cancellation is not an instant stop, but primarily the end of the next renewal.

If you cannot find your subscription in Google Play, the cause is often the wrong Google account. So be sure to check whether you are signed in with the account used for the purchase.
