How can I delete my MY.PROTECTSTAR account?
You can request deletion of your MY.PROTECTSTAR account at any time. Once your request has been completed, your MY.PROTECTSTAR account and the data linked to that account will be permanently deleted. You do not need to reinstall a Protectstar app in order to submit a deletion request.
In certain cases, we may retain individual data if this is required for security reasons, fraud prevention, or legal or regulatory obligations. You can find more information in our Privacy Policy under Retention and Deletion of Data.
Option 1: Delete your account online
- Sign in to MY.PROTECTSTAR Login at https://my.protectstar.com/account/login
- Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select My Profile.
- Open the Account Details tab.
- Click Delete account.
- Enter your password to confirm your deletion request.
Option 2: Can’t sign in or already uninstalled the app?
You can also request deletion of your account without the app:
- Open Protectstar Support.
- Enter your name and the email address linked to your MY.PROTECTSTAR account.
- Select MY.PROTECTSTAR as the product.
- Select Delete my account as the issue.
- Submit your request.
We may ask you to confirm your identity before completing the deletion. We process deletion requests as quickly as possible.
Option 3: Delete your account in the app
In Protectstar Android apps that support MY.PROTECTSTAR login, you can find account deletion here:
Settings > MY.PROTECTSTAR > Account Settings > Delete account
Then confirm the deletion with your password.
Important
If you have an active subscription through Google Play, you must manage or cancel it separately in Google Play.
Deleting your MY.PROTECTSTAR account may cause you to lose access to account-based features linked to that account.
