I connected my iPhone/iPad to my computer and launched iShredder iOS, but my device isn't showing up. How can I fix this?

Here's a step-by-step guide to resolve this issue:

  1. Disconnect & Close Apps:
Disconnect your iPhone/iPad from your computer.
Close both iTunes and iShredder iOS.

2. Clear Lockdown Files:

  • Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Apple\Lockdown on your computer.
  • Delete all files located in this folder. Important: Do not delete the folder itself.

Note: This is a hidden folder on Windows. If you can't see it, you'll need to enable the option to view hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer. If you're unsure how to do this, refer to this guide: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/view-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-97fbc472-c603-9d90-91d0-1166d1d9f4b5

3. Reconnect & Trust Device:
Connect your iPhone/iPad back to your computer.
Open iTunes.
When prompted, select the option to trust your device/computer.
Once your device appears in iTunes, you can close the application.

4. Launch iShredder iOS:
Open iShredder iOS.
Your iPhone/iPad should now be recognized and displayed correctly.
