Do I need to cancel my Google Play subscription separately before deleting my MY.PROTECTSTAR account?
Yes. If you have an active subscription through Google Play, you must cancel it separately in Google Play. You can find more information directly in Google Play Help.
Here’s how to cancel your subscription:
On Android, open Subscriptions in Google Play on your device, select the subscription you want to cancel, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the on-screen steps. On a computer, open Subscriptions in Google Play, click Manage next to your subscription, and then click Cancel subscription.
Important: If you only uninstall the app, your subscription will not be canceled automatically. After cancellation, you can usually continue using your subscription until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. If you can’t find your subscription, please check whether you’re signed in with the correct Google account.
After that, you can delete your MY.PROTECTSTAR account as usual: online via MY.PROTECTSTAR, in supported Android apps, or through Protectstar Support if you can no longer sign in. If you need help, please use Protectstar Support or write to privacy@protectstar.com.
